ITAWATT respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Itwatt, operating the ITAWATT brand (“ITAWATT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit itawatt.com.pk, contact us, request information about our energy storage products, apply to become a partner, subscribe to updates, or seek warranty and after-sales support.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. Depending on how you interact with ITAWATT, this may include:

  • Enquiries and quotations: your name, email address, phone number, city, company name if applicable, project type, whether you are an installer, business owner, household user, or distributor, the product you are interested in, how you heard about us, and the details you put in your message.
  • Partner applications: your name, company name, email address, phone number, city, website if supplied, type of partnership sought, how you heard about us, and your message.
  • Newsletter subscriptions: your email address and your subscription preferences or related consent record, where applicable.
  • Warranty and support: the contact and product details you provide when seeking after-sales assistance or making a warranty claim, such as the battery model and serial number, proof of purchase, installation or service details, photographs, and a description of the issue. We collect these details when they are relevant to the request.
  • Other communications: the information you share with us by email, telephone, WhatsApp, social media, or another channel you choose to use.

Please avoid sending identification documents, financial information, or other sensitive information unless we specifically need it to handle your request.
Information collected when you use the website. Our website and the services that support it may receive your IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and browser details, pages viewed, referring page, dates and times of visits, and interactions with the site. Cookies and similar technologies may also collect or store information as explained below.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries, recommend suitable products, prepare quotations, and follow up on requests you make;
  • review partner applications and communicate about potential business relationships;
  • provide product guidance, after-sales support, and warranty assistance, including assessing and resolving claims;
  • send the newsletter or other marketing updates you have requested, and allow you to opt out;
  • operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website and understand how visitors use it;
  • measure and improve our advertising and, where the relevant technology and your choices permit, show more relevant advertisements; and

We do not use information submitted for a product or partner enquiry as automatic permission to add you to a newsletter. We may follow up about the inquiry itself.

5. WhatsApp and external services

Our website may offer a link to contact our team on WhatsApp. If you choose that option, WhatsApp processes information about your use of its service under its own privacy policy. Information you send to ITAWATT in the conversation will also be used by us to handle your request. Links to social media or other third-party websites are governed by those services’ own privacy practices.

6. International processing

Some website, communications, analytics, advertising, or other service providers may process information outside Pakistan. Where we use such providers, we take reasonable steps to select and manage them appropriately and handle transfers in line with applicable requirements.

7. How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. The period depends on the nature of the enquiry or relationship, whether a warranty or support matter remains open, our need to maintain business records, and applicable legal requirements. We then delete, anonymize, or securely archive information as appropriate. If you unsubscribe from marketing, we may retain the minimum information needed to honor that choice.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. Access is limited to people and service providers who need the information for authorized work. No method of internet transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate details, or delete information we no longer need, subject to applicable law and legitimate record-keeping needs. You can also ask us to stop sending marketing messages; newsletter emails should provide an unsubscribe method. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it for future processing.

Send requests to support@itawatt.com.pk. We may need to verify that the request is genuinely from you before acting on it. We will respond within a reasonable time and explain if a request cannot be fulfilled in full.

10. Children's privacy

Our products and website are intended for adults and business users. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can review and address it.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as our website, services, or practices change. We will post the revised version here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we handle personal information, we will take additional steps to notify people where appropriate.
